The Department of Natural Resources is in the process of issuing a health advisory for air quality for the Fort Atkinson area, according to Fort Atkinson Fire Chief Rausch, due to the fire. Residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed and run their air conditioning.

Vehicle Registration Fee

The DOT will be collecting an annual $20 fee for all vehicles registered as being in the “City of Fort Atkinson”. If you received a renewal notice with the fee and the vehicle is not kept in the City limits, make a note on the application which municipality the vehicle is kept in and deduct the fee.
